Physical Therapy x Functional Training
AC Biomechanics is a Physical Therapy and Functional Training Facility dedicated to solving the root causes of body pains by enhancing one's biomechanics through our training program.
What is biomechanics?
From the word “bio”, which means life, and “mechanics” which is the study of motions, Biomechanics refers to a study of how the human body moves and how our bodies responds to the forces during movement.

JAN ALDWIN CRUZ, PTRP
Jan Aldwin Cruz is a licensed Physical Therapist and a certified Functional Patterns - Human Foundations Practitioner. For years, he has been employing the principles of Functional Patterns Training himself and using them to help his clients rehabilitate injuries, alleviate body pain, and improve sustainable strength for everyday life.
Following his 8-year stint as a practicing Physiotherapist in the Philippines, he decided to start his own private practice in 2024.
The "AC" represents a shared vision: his combined initials and his partner and co-founder. Together with their accumulated experience in healthcare and corporate practice, they established AC Biomechanics with the hope to elevate rehabilitation and movement training across the country.
Unlock your best shape with our
1-on-1 Biomechanics Training Program
serviceS
Our Biomechanics Training Program is a step-by-step correction program of our basic human movements: standing, walking, running, throwing. By improving these fundamental movements, we can solve your body pain and build strength and resilience
for daily life.
It is difficult to move with muscle stiffness and joint pain. In Myofascial Release Therapy, we use targeted pressures on your muscles to dissolve tensions and stiffness.
During the assessment, you will discover more about your movement patterns and behaviors, identify factors that could be contributing to your pain and discomfort, and be introduced to a personalized program that will help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
The Assessment includes medical history check, psychosocial and lifestyle evaluation, movement analysis, posture assessment, and gait analysis (walking & running).
After the assessment, clients who opt to undergo the Biomechanics Training Program will learn how to improve the “FP First 4” Fundamental Human Movements — a balanced and efficient standing, walking, running, & throwing mechanics.
